About the FL4LF Transnational Training of Adult Educators (LTTA) in Italy
The Learning, Training, and Teaching Activity (LTTA) will take place in Torrecuso (BN) - ITALY from December 2nd to 8th, 2023 (the 2nd and 8th are considered arrival and departure days). This activity will see the participation of four adult educators from each partner organization (12 participants at the project level).
About the planned activities
GRAMIGNA from Italy will coordinate and host this LTTA event based on the contents of activity no. 4 (Creation of workshop scenarios and testing through transnational training of adult educators), and all participants will complete evaluation sheets and contribute to its implementation and dissemination. A rich program has been prepared that will contribute to strengthening knowledge, acquiring skills and discovering new ideas!
The main activities
Training Workshops: Participants will test the implementation of the FL4LF workshop scenarios developed, and a unique pleasure will be learning from Italian culinary artists in the Artisan Pasta Production Workshop :) What's better to acquire these skills and knowledge than traveling to Italy?
Study Visits: Many study visits have been designed, so there will be a new discovery every day! Participants are expected to visit: Next Social Commerce srl & GIOOSTO platform, as a sustainable e-commerce, socially responsible company, whose goal is to create well-being for the community and the environment. It will be a visit that introduces participants to e-commerce that offers a selection of excellent products, not only good but made with respect for people, the environment, and the local community. Can you imagine over 1000 sustainable products with organic raw materials on an e-commerce platform? This educational experience will allow participants to see that it is possible!
Farm: meat processing and vegetable production as an educational visit that will open new horizons and new knowledge on how to cooperate with local food producers and the benefits they bring us. The focus is on the concept from farm to table. Iannella Winery will offer an exciting educational journey - "Local Wines - from vine to wine". "Lentamente" Agricultural Cooperative Society - ILC will open its doors to participants and show the food processing workshop. The Olive Oil Production Educational Workshop led by Dr. Sebastian Limata will offer additional excitement and the discovery of the world of olives and their healthy, golden juice - welcome in any kitchen that appreciates refined taste and healthy meals.
Group Work: Activities designed for the joint reinforcement of skills and abilities through teamwork and cooperation.
The goals of this educational event
Knowledge of Food Literacy: Deepen the understanding of food literacy concepts and local food systems of educators.
